I'm not flip flopping. It was embarrassing. That doesn't mean that I'm jumping ship or changing my opinion of Butch. Nice to see someone reads my posts though.

Big difference in being upset with the teams effort and calling for Butch's head or comparing him to Dooley as some are doing.

This X100. I'm just as mad about today's performance as everyone else, but that doesn't mean that I'm giving up on Butch. Hell, we can still make a bowl this year. People who are giving up on Butch can leave and go kick rocks.

Oh, stuff your sanctimonious little self, we should again be anxious to wait three to discover we don't have a coach. There is legitimacy to talent issues, and legitimacy to coaching questions. It's not an either/or question.

Look at the teams Auburn's beat, their records, and tell me we're worse than all of them. And that CBJ and staff are beyond reproach. As lackluster as most have been, if you think the departing team members will be replaced to such a degree by inexperience as to improve on this record, go bet your house on it. It's as likely not, as is.

This staff has about used up the trial period without showing improvement at the 10 game mark. They can be supported without pledging allegiance, like many of you heel-clickers think we should.

Ok im gonna say this slowly. Butch Jones is not Saban. Saban had built up programs previously before his current stop at Alabama. Butch Jones has simply just stepped into Brian Kellys shoes at CMU and Cinci. Stop comparing the two its apples and oranges

Tennessee has to have some of the most fair weather fans around, not mention I am not sure how some of the idiots can figure out how to turn on a computer. Not even a full season and these mouth breathers are after the coach's head. The main reason I don't bother coming around much. Give the man a chance, he has some real talent coming in but he can't snap his fingers and make slow players fast or mid level talent stars. Go cheer for Bama or somebody else, we don't need you.

Do you think we have gotten deeper? Increased our speed? Avoided injury? Worn down over the SEC schedule?
Do you think the coaches quite coaching? Do you think we have not had players leave the team mid season?

Do you think the Culture changes over night

This fanbase makes the Stepford wives seem like a pack of radical bra burners. Due to legacies and an*unusual amount of in state talent we were going to have an excellent class in 2014 no matter who the head coach is. We've had a lot of on the field disappointment and I understand why people are pissed at the recent lack of effort. On the other hand, we did get an upset win and we've seen that Jones will roll the dice when there's a fighting chance of winning. On balance, there's more reason to be hopeful than to start talking new staff but it sure ain't a landslide decision yet.
