Basketball in the state if Alabama is an afterthought. I'm not surprised that auburn kept Jeff "Phil Fulmer" Lebo around as long as they did. He wrecked that program then they hire a Kiffinesque coach who's known as a recruiter. They'll be sorry for a while.

first year head coach.. rebuilding... give them a break.

after all, that's what people argue for our football program lol

Giving the coach a break doesn't mean they aren't terrible. Just like giving Dooley a pass for the situation he inherited for now doesn't change the win-loss record.

UNC-A huh....that's awesome...I still think they'll win about 6 or 7 conference games though

They might win a few, the SEC isn't exactly a powerhouse conference. The West will probably struggle to get a team into the tournament again this season. Not one of the better leagues out there.

In the next couple of years, Auburn will have more kids from Memphis on their roster than UT.

If Auburn wins 6 conference games, the SEC champ should have to participate in one of the play in games in the NCAA Tournament.

Auburn will have some competiton for the title of Worst Team In A Major Conference. Iowa lost at home to South Dakota State today.

Haven't they lost a lot of players to transfer recently? I thought they lost their best player to USC and their two starting guards (who would have been seniors this year) as well.

Wake Forest is pretty bad this year as well, no? At least they are super young.

Fuller transferred to USC. He was their best post player. Matt Gatens, their best scorer is hurt. They've had more than their share of transfers. Their roster is a mess. They have maybe three or four guys who should even be the 12th man on a Big 10 roster.

Wake Forest is awful. Tony Chennault is out for some time, which makes them even worse.

Do you think UGA's near disaster the other night was an indictment of what they really are or just a slow start?

Ah yes, Fuller. USC the new transfer U? Fontan and Fuller along with Vucevic (sp?) is a solid core for them.
