If you stand too close to the KY guards

There were iffy calls both ways and fouls call were pretty even between the teams 16 vs 17.

What really lost the game was that Kentucky had 14 more shot attempts due mostly to the turnover difference 21 vs 10. If they didn't throw the ball away so much and put a few more decent shots they would of won.

Refs didn't cost us this game. The one thing I think needs changing on both the women's and men's side of officiating is letting the shooter jump into the defender and then calling a foul on the defender. Epps does this all the time and you see it over and over. It needs to change.

Everyone with any basketball knowledge knows what cost us the game. The same thing will cost us several more games this year. Next year too.

I don't know about next year, but on doesn't win many games with 20 or more turnovers, shooting 30-35 %, and loseing the rebound numbers.

Points off turnovers - UT 10, UK 18

I was also surprised by the points in the paint differential - Points in paint - UT 16, UK 34

I think what cost us the game was a bunch of players coming back for the third quarter with no energy or desire to play defense. I think they thought they could just go through the motions and get a victory. That was the weakest defense we have played all year in that third quarter last night. We were letting 5'5" guards get to the basket for easy shots and layups. They outscored us 22 to 8 in that quarter and it is not the first time we've been drilled coming out of the locker room.
We need a new coach and staff and if these players don't want to give effort out on the court for forty minutes they need to move on as well.
I never thought I would see the Lady Vol basketball program fall to where it is now gonna be a tough off season for all Lady Vol fans.

Amen to that but I also said at the outset of the game after seeing who the officiating crew was that we would be playing against 8 not 5 .That crew has cost the Lady Vols at least 10 games by biased officiating over the last several years.

This was what I was trying to say and did a poor job. KY guards just kept crashing into our players and awarded foul shots.

Brian and Dee love to throw that charge punch. They can't wait to use it. If they flop, we get the punch. I've seen Brian cause a couple of teams to lose over the years at the SEC tourney. He's done it to Alabama and Arkansas at the end of games. I think Dee used to do it when Pat was coaching just to show Pat that she could and nothing would come of it.
