As one of the fastest rising recruits in Illinois, Tate has received a slew of offers in recent months. Which teams are the latest to throw their hat in the ring for the 2023 DB out of Kenwood Academy (IL)?
"My most recent offers were
Ole Miss,
Tennessee,
Missouri and
Kansas," Tate said. "I got those at the beginning of February when coaches were able to come right before signing day."
"I have a real good relationship with Tennessee," Tate said. "
Tim Banks was the first to offer me and he's at Tennessee now. So, I kind of got like a different connection with him. I'm excited to do that (visit Tennessee) as well. I'm trying to visit everyone."
Between his visit to Iowa and the numerous trips he is looking to take, Tate is going to be a busy man in the coming months. Does he have a timeline for his commitment or a list of top schools at this point?
"I don't have a top list of schools yet," Tate said. "I am hoping to commit before the season."
