Sebastian Cheeks who is committed to North Carolina has been having some solid dialogue with Tennessee. Michigan State and the Vols are two teams trying to take him away from the Tar Heels. We feel like an official visit in the month of December is pretty likely.

Let's steal him and get him in the ear of some other UNC commits. Travis Shaw and Zach Rice, yes please. And if we're looking for a bigger back, they have a kid named Omarion Hampton committed. Lord I want to raid their class sooo bad. I have no idea how old man Mack is pulling these kids in, but his last class was pretty good too. But if they lose Howell to the draft this year as expected, that program is gonna drop IMO. Hell, even with Howell, they've been far from great this year. We could really use some of those guys.

I’m really confused by UNC’s ability to get recruits this year. UNC was supposed to have a historic year with a heisman candidate QB and as much talent as they’ve ever had in a pitiful ACC. Yet they are terrible and still getting kids.

It's about continuity. They have been recruiting this 2022 class since they were HS freshmen. They also have some good recruiters on staff: Dre Bly, Larry Porter, Tommy Thigpen.

If we can keep our staff in place and continue in an upward trajectory, we can get in with UNC and Clemson to go after the top players in NC and VA. We're not going to beat out UGA for top GA players right now, but we can go after the Carolinas and VA, which were the key areas to our recruiting domination in the 90s and 2000s. (Carl Pickens, Leonard Little, Jay Graham, Omar Gaither, Marvin Mitchell, Jerod Mayo, Montario Hardesty, Crompton).

Yep it was perfect timing for Mack. North Carolina had great instate classes and keeping Howell home changed game. If we take Howell then entirely possible a lot of those kids would have signed here instead of unc being the hot item and we ended up brides maid
