Illinois @ Indiana

Illinois just got boned so hard on a touchdown ruled incomplete. Guy literally caught it inbounds twice!

That call was as bad as Tim Brando’s broadcasting. Mercy.

I’ve no idea what constitutes a catch anymore if that wasn’t one. Even originally ruled incomplete it should’ve been overturned.

You’re also right the WR caught it again inbounds after scuffling with the DB as he was getting up.

Holy moly the ref crew just royally screwed up. Illinois tried to change defenses and had about 14 people on the field, they threw a flag but then took about 5-6 minutes to discuss, then pick up the flag and the head ref didn't turn his mic on to explain the call so nobody knows what they decided.

What I think happened was the refs should have stood over the ball because IU changed personnel and Illinois should have been given time to switch players but the ref didn't and let IU snap it. And then they talked about it and realized they screwed up.

Ballsy play. Running it on 3rd and 1 with 23 seconds and no timeouts. Paid off though. Touchdown made it 23-20 IU with less than 20 in the game.

Yeah, I believe Indiana subbed which they didn’t hold the snap for.

I watched this one, refs were horrible on a few plays, especially that one.
