I'm a little surprised that Kentucky didn't go after Beilein at least a little bit. I think he was probably the best coach that could have been pried away from his current position.

Any thoughts?

Kentucky is going to get stuck with Pelphrey or Ford unless they can convince Barnes to come to Lex. It is funny. Joe B Hall had to deal with the legend of Rupp, Tubby had to deal with the legend of Pitino, and the new hire will have to live with the legend of "almost hiring" Donovan. Go figure.

They are setting themselves up for a big disappointment in Catland.

I simply don't know what is going to happen. The fans still say Billy is a lock, but the media disagrees. If they don't get Billy it will be a black eye.

That is what most people say. The only hole in the theory is that IMO the actual quality of life in Lexington is much better that in Gainesville. I find Gainesville to be repulsive.
