I never will forget the locker room shouting by Kellen Winslow after the Miami win! I remember watching that game on T.V. after seeing us lose and lose badly the year before in Neyland. Honestly, I didn't think we stood a chance in the rematch the following year. After that media interview, I knew I would never favor him.

Kellen Winslow trial Day 5: How bike location data incriminated him

How does one go from a super star to this?

He never lived up to the superstar that lived in his own head.

He did have an 1100 yard season and a pro bowl appearance after an ACL in Cleveland, but yeah. He was never a superstar.

Still can't believe people get so butthurt about a kid figuratively calling himself a "soldier". Freaking nancies.

His father was the ultimate NFL Pro Bowl player who conducted himself with class throughout his career. Unfortuntely, it seems as if his son, born wth a silver spoon in his mouth with every advantage in front of him, was more about being "about that life." Someone must have gotten to him early and often to have so rejected the sort of life his father lived and exemplified. Just so very sad.

For me i took satisfaction in the fact that he took the L like a little P Ass B . Talking about going after knees and stuff like that. He’s kind of insane and a horrible loser.

Looking back the soldier thing was not that big of deal, but we were right in the middle of the Iraq War with and Afghanistan. Not the best choice of words publicly at the time.

Honestly, I think he's mentally ill and I feel bad for him.

Already has and is in court for it!

Yeah. I should’ve read the article. When I wrote I was thinking Aaron Hernandez kind of stuff, but that’s just awful. I wouldn’t be surprised if he has a similar demise in prison or some sort of facility.

His comments didn't bother me, I rather enjoyed his locker room meltdown 😆

Is Winslow's trial technically a court martial?
No. In the famous words of Mike Leach:

"How come they get to pretend they are soldiers? The thing is, they aren't in the military. I ought to have Mike's Pirate School. The freshmen, all they get is the bandana. When you're a senior, you get the sword and skull and crossbones. For homework, we'll work pirate maneuvers and stuff like that."
