Not only for our fans that just had to watch that garbage. But also for me...why did I choose this username lol. I said that I would support CCM until the end of the year as long as he made the tourney. But I think I'm giving up. Just hope that if he can't get this turned around that Hart actually makes a good hire and not a latteral move. Cuonzo made the jump to a higher level too quick in his career. I still think he can be a great coach in 5 years or so but his style won't work here...maybe back in the big 10. I hate it because he's a good guy but this is a business. I'm still going to watch our games and hope he gets it turned around, but tonight I lost complete faith.

Thank you Jordan McRae for bailing us out all the time. Without him we'd be under .500.

Edit: Mods please add "NOT" or NO Longer" in front of my name. Thanks lol.

Major respect for you, bro. I saved you a seat on the NegaVol bus.

I wish him the best but he should have stayed at Mizzou State for 5 more years or so until he got a chance for a Big 10 job.

Anybody that has supported him this long has some PATIENCE!! lol I thought he should have been fired after the Mercer loss in the NIT last year.

It was reasonable to support him until he proved that he couldn't get it done this year given our current roster. He failed miserably.

Nothing to be ashamed of. We all thought and hoped at first that Cuonzo would turn out good. It just didn't happen. Even I, perhaps his harshest critic, wanted to see how this season would go before deciding to keep or fire him. However, we have now seen enough and it's time to cut him loose immediately.

Maybe one day we'll have a winner again in something other than women's basketball.

For me....I don't believe it is being a NegaVol when the basketball HC has multiple seasons of underachieving and the sorry start for this season. Basketball is a sport that is easy to turn around quickly unlike football.

that's the problem - guaranteed contract. There is ZERO incentive for him to win. CCM gets paid the same whether they win by 20 or lose by 20. you've got to have a coach that lives and breathes basketball. someone with some passion and pride. I really wish there was a way to only pay your coach when they win. then you'd see some serious @ss chewing after a missed layup or a missed free throw.

Yep, the right hire can turnaround things in a hurry. Will UT spend the money to get a decent coach while paying CM his buyout?
