Freak, I like to stay in Pigeon Forge. Eat at Connors for supper, and the Apple Barn for breakfast.

Get to the strip early, walk around, and stake your claim to a good TG spot.

ive been goin for years and parking is outrageous wherever you go... parking on the strip is fun you get to see everyone walking and everything. The vol walk is fun and vol village as well. the parking lot across from tenn grille is probly the most tailgaiters in one spot. Have fun and enjoy!

O'Chaley's on the Strip has a great gameday atmosphere if you aren't actually "tailgating".

I usually park in the lot across from the church off of Cumberland and Henley St. I believe. I usually get off 40 at the downtown exit. Good access to the area near the river (Tennessee Grill, Vol Navy etc.). I also venture down to O'Charley's for some pre-game yelling and hollering (No shortage of Rocky Top in there), then I usually head over to the bookstore because that money is just buring a hole in my pocket besides you can't get any good UT stuff here in Ga. But I must say the Vol Walk is a must.

That's where I'll be, from open 'til kickoff.

Stop by. You'll learn the real words to "Sweet Home Alabama". Hehe

Get there early and hang on the Strip, shops, food, and beverage of choice.

Then wonder down for the Vol Walk, a must see. Feel free to yell at Coach Sanders think outside the box, may help.

You can wonder to the Vol Navy but it is a walk so you better like boats.

Stokley is usually open and you can peak in there to check it out.

But if you go that far you may miss the band coming down and entering the stadium. That always gives me chills.

Suggest a good 3 hrs before game time.

ENJOY THE GAME, HAVE A SAFE TRIP.

I would leave the backpack in the car. Everything you will need can fit inside your wallet, just make sure you have alot in it.$$$$

Stay at the Executive Inn on Chapman HWY. Yes, it isnt the best hotel, but it is cheap and close to the stadium. It is only 1.5 miles from stadium actually. So, keep the car at the hotel and walk to the stadium. you wont find many other spoyts closer than that unless yuo want to pay $35.00. And get to the game at least 2 hours before kickoff to watch the Vol Walk.

If you are sitting in the corner of the endzone, watch out for balls kicked by James Wilhoit...........If you are sitting on the sideline, watch out for balls kicked by Britton Colquitt...............Also when our offense is on the field, don't get excited when one of our recievers is open deep, he'll never get the ball thrown his way.
