you can't be saying that you don't believe the current admin is focused on spending. There is no possible way to piss all the money away that they have without a seriously concerted effort.

I agree the focus should be on spending.

Should the next president approach running the country in the way a successful CEO might, maximize, streamline and focus attention to cut out programs and factors that are a drain?

Nice thought but it will never work. Successful CEO is hard nosed and has the autonomous power. President with those qualities would never get elected because he would be viewed as partisan. If by chance he did, Congress would oppose him.

Ron Paul almost gives me everything I want in a candidate, from the building a nation from within standpoint. However, his views on foreign strategy are for the birds.
