Georgia has had great success on us numerous years throwing to the tight end when in the Red Zone. This past Sat against Fla they used a 3 tight-end set several times against Fla. Will Overstreet brought this up today on The Sports Source. Hope this gets covered. Dooley didn't , Jones didn't and Pruitt didn't. Just saying.

Stop the TEs. They don't have much else.

I think it's impossible to stop them tho lol
They are an impressive group, for sure. If SB has time, he'll get the ball to his TE and they will get theirs.

If they plan on winning they better plan on throwing to them 30+ times……..then hope for the best.

I rewatched the highlights from last year and I believe we lost for these 3 reasons. Hooker did not have a good game and they were breaking tackles.

1. They got say too much pressure on Hooker
2. Hooker was inaccurate and the coverage was tight and it lead to INT and missed throws.
3. Our edge contain and LB play was not great. We missed a lot of tackles at the point of contact and it resulted in most of their chunk yardage.

I’ve said it all year and I’ll keep saying:

Just run the damn offense, and keep running it, and we will win. Everything else is just noise. TE sets, our passing D, how many of the last whatever number of games we’ve lost to a team, special teams issues…..doesn’t matter!! Our offense can overcome all of it if we just keep running it until the last whistle blows

That's what I remember too. But we are doing a better job at each of these as of now. GBO

Nobody has stopped it yet. Talented defenses have had no luck either. (LSU and Bama) There is no reason to believe it will be stopped this season until it happens

Georgia has two of the best TEs in college football. We do not this year. However, we will have a couple coming in and I expect TEs will become a be used much more in the future. In fact, we may see if more against Georgia Saturday.

I think pressure on SB is one of the keys for the game. Similar to Levis he can be thrown off when under pressure and getting different looks. Saturday was a huge step for the secondary and we can get after a qb. He’ll be much easier to hit than Bryce was for bama.

UGa is good with their TE's and they use them lots.

If we have a good man on man cover guy I'd put him on Bowers the entire game.

A big focus has to be on their TE's too.

This could be our toughest game of this season because I don't believe the Ohio state SUCKeyes can beat UGa.

I believe our HC, OC and DC spent all day yesterday watching film on UGa,, taking notes and putting their plans of attack together and I honestly believe that those 3 men are some of the very best in the business at doing that type of preperation.

Starting today all our coaches will start teaching our Team exactly what they want done to UGa and how to do it.

When we take the field at UGa you can bet that our coaches and players WILL be very well prepared and ready to rock!!!

GO VOLS...Stomp the UGa bullFRAWGS!!!

VFL...GBO!!!

My understanding is GA has a monster tight end, a really big physical guy. Can't recall his name but do remember when recruited to GA he was projected to be a match horror for opponents.
