They seem like a team of destiny.. It seems like they make play after play, get the whistles, close tight games, and have had those defining moments occur numerous times down the stretch. They'll have a tough one against Gtown or UNC, but I wouldn't be surprised to see more magic come their way in the Final Four. This is really depressing for me considering we could have closed them on Thursday night. It could be us heading back to Knoxville knowing we're set to play in Atlanta next weekend. But unfortunately, it just wasn't meant to be yet.. And next season can't get here soon enough.

This reminds me of their 2002 football season. OSU doesn't lose close wheter it's officiating or not.

Don't be so sure. They could beat both your favorite teams. Anything is possible when it's 8 on 5. Expect Noah, Horford, Brewer, Green, and anyone else succeeding to have 4 fouls at the half.

I can't wait until they visit Knoxville next year.. We can expect a fair shake in officiating, 20,000 plus, national coverage, and finally, payback... We'll have more depth, length, talent, and more experience than last year's squad. I'll enjoy seeing Matta cringe when we run his team out of the gym next January.

Just so you guys know, Matta has been given clearance by his AD to talk to UK's Barnhart about the UK job.

He's got some very good classes coming in to go with all the talent he has now....plus OSU is more of a "football" school where he'd get more leeway...kinda like Billy D...I just cant see him taking the UK job...this coaching search might get interesting.

I just heard that UK will offer Donovan $3 million. Not exactly an earth-shattering update from me, but it makes me wonder how much UF will offer him, considering that Meyer would likely also need a raise. It would make a huge statement, though, if Donovan came out of this making a lot more at UF than the football coach (at least for now). Even if Donovan wants to stay at UF, no one can really blame him for playing this card. Possibly back-to-back NCs and UK on the phone. Donovan has all of the cards.

BD was getting a raise this yr regardless of this...last yr he passed up his raise since Noah, etc came back and didn't go to the NBA to make a statement that the money would be there later.

True, but this certainly ups the ante. He'll never hold a hand as strong as this one. Why stop at a raise? If there's anything else he wants out of UF, perhaps a bigger arena, he could negotiate for that now.
