Bench Skylar McBee. I can't stand to see him on the court anymore. It's absolutely ridiculous. He doesn't play effective defense. He doesn't rebound. He turns the ball over too much. He shoots 33% from the field. 33%!!!! And his job is specifically hit outside jumpers. That's why he was given a scholarship. Except he can't. I'm tired of hearing from Pearl "He hits everything in practice." Look, I'm glad he gives 100%. That's nice. A lot of people would if they could play for Tennessee. I know why he played today (Scotty's injury), but he should not play unless there is injury. He went 0-4 against arguably the worst SEC team in twenty years. Bench him, and let's become a better basketball team. Giving Bone and Golden more minutes will work out fine. Bench him.

Rant over.

Unless he has some type of Jordan Howellish type slump, he isn't going to be benched. He has had some good games recently and is currently in a stretch of bad ones. Give the guy a break already.

He's shooting 30.4% (17-56) from the field this year. Worst on the team.

I think it's fair to say he's struggled for most of the season.

he did a decent job rebounding tonight and he's had a couple good shooting games lately, and i know i fact i so him hitting the floor 3 or 4 times tonight going after the loose ball, like it or not he and Pearl are both better team players than some of our other subs right now, i wouldnt complain about them individually, but they line up that their usually in with is whats poor

Except he was a main reason we beat vandy... not even mentioning Kansas last year. He can clutch

The only thing I can think of is the coaches feel it is worth it go through his sucking because if he ends up shooting closer to 40% he will be a major weapon. I think he sucks and until he proves it he should get less minutes.

I wasn't aware he was the leading scorer or rebounder in the Vandy game. Swiperboy was far more clutch against Kansas.

Here's what my father said: Some guys are gamers, some are not. Skylar McBee isn't going to shoot like he can in practice.

The world is full of people who hit it great on the driving range. That looks like what Mcbee is. If he keeps sucking like this and then gets big minutes in the tournament I will throw up all over my living room.

For the love of God, please tell me somebody didn't bring the Kansas game up yet again. That was LAST SEASON!!!!!!! It has absolutely nothing to do with the was McBrick is playing this year. I mean if we want to talk about one game heroics or some crap like that, JP hit two 3's in a game last season. For that, he should be in the NBA 3 point shoot out this season. (sarcasm BTW)

Hey guys, Swiperboy is the definition of clutch. He hit 4 three's in the Kansas game in THE FIRST HALF!!! I think that's more 3's than McBee has hit all year.

What I can't fathom is how is he still shooting 33% from 3pt range? Maybe it's because he doesn't shoot that much but it sure doesn't look like he hits 1 out of every 3. I'm not down on the kid that much. It's not like he's playing 30 minutes a game. BUT, it would be nice to see him get hot every now and then. Go Vols! Beat the elephants!!

He had 3 pts at the end of the half to pull us within 10, and he had 7 pts on two plays in a critical stretch in the second half. I'm not arguing that we should increase his minutes; just defending the point that he was a big key in that one game.

Glad you armchair QBs are not the coach. Although, I would have liked to have seen Maymon and Swiperboy get a few minutes of PT, at least, toward the end of the game. But, I'm not the coach.

What other top 25 programs would he be logging these kind of minutes?
