Imagine: hundreds of black protestors in D.C., armed with AK-47's ....

Imagine 3 members of the KKK standing outside a polling booth in downtown Atlanta in 2012.

Food for thought.

If they were protesting for gun ownership rights then I wouldn't have a problem with it. If they were protesting for the same agenda as the black panthers I would have an issue, just as I would have an issue if it was some white separatists movement.

Do you really want to go down this "what-if-the-race-was-reversed" path? Really?

I don't understand why you keep posting this stuff - unless you, like most libs, are secretly terrified of the Tea Party (of which I am not a member, nor even have an allegiance to).

If they are some fringe element comprised exclusively of rich, white people - they can only advance your own political philosophy, in some regard.

If they're anything of note, they'll simply split votes from Republicans, which will somehow mitigate the nuclear-powered arse whipping your side of the aisle is about to take in November.

If they are nothing of note, they'll simply be an inconsequnetial group of people who run around protesting, but ultimately, never getting anywhere. You know, like homosexuals. And PETA. And Greenpeace.

I think that you're scared of them, LG - and if not, then why are doing everything you can to smear them? If you're just trying to expose racist elements in political movements, there are easier targets than the Tea Party. Like President Obama's cabinet, for starters.

did I miss hundreds of TPers marching and protesting with AK's?

it's also funny that some of the scenarios the writer points out were used against Bush.

LG's nervous that Obama and company are on the way out, he's just doing his best to be like his fav. "NEWS" reporter, KO

At some point the race card needs to be revoked.

Although it never will be. Because then actual issues would have to be exposed/discussed.

I would like a link for this as well. Oh that's right, there isn't one... :eek:lol:

I just assumed it happened and I missed it. I was in DC all weekend and didn't see them though. Maybe they were carrying AR's since that would seem to be the white version of an evil gun?

I don't know but I find the writer to be very racist himself to assume every black person has an AK sitting in their closet.

When does the ecomomy begin to show steady gains?

i watched an interview nbc nightly news did with him last wk. guess what he did.....he said that he takes responsibility for ppl not being able to find jobs, but he said "people seem to forget the mess we were in when i took office". seems to me that the mess hasn't gotten better at all, that it's even gotten worse, but hey that's just me

Our POTUS scares the crap out of me.

What do you mean? He just wants what's best for us by ignoring our most sacred document that details how our country is supposed to be governed. Also, he just wants to help us by taking over the financial and healthcare aspects of our lives.

What's not to love?!!!!

I think Obama is an incredible politician, and I don't see anyone on the Republican side that is up for the challenge yet, but the unemployment numbers may do him in. People/companies are sitting on cash right now, and that isn't going to change this year.

If he armed himself and stood outside the House chamber or like Ted Nugent said he was prepared to go after poliiticans using his military training, I'd agree with you.

Its steady now, just very slow recovery, which is what has been predicted by economists.

You are forgetting how much worse it might have been, which is an alternative we'll never fully undersand. Don't forget, even Bush and his administration were talking about a complete world economic collapse within days or even hours had they not begun the shoring up process, which Obama continued.

Certainly possible. But if unemployment number are back down to 7 or 8 pct or thereabouts, and the 401ks are looking better, and housing has stabilized, his position will be a lot better.

i nvr said Bush wasn't part of it, however i don't believe Obama knows how to get out of it. but hey, it's always fun to continue to blame the other administration 19 months after Obama took office
