I find it quite amusing that coming down the pike to the November elections that there are MAJOR illegal immigration sting operations. Just today I've seen multiple stories of cities all over having dozens, hundreds, and even a few thousand illegal immigrants rounded up. It seems the WH is going down a punch list of weak issues to work on before November to give the home team some fodder to run on. Convenient that the party in power does nothing all session but when in trouble before election, they run out to solve every problem the polls show people are concerned about. Pander, pander, pander.

And Congress game themselves another raise to boot.. :bad: Guess the thought of unemployment encourages such decisions.

The thought of getting fired does provoke one to work a little harder. The deal with these clowns is that they'll work hard and then January 1, it's status quo.

During the last round of immigration stings it seemed to me that most of the employers the gvt targeted were foriegn corporations. Is that still the case?

Here in Phoenix Sheriff Joe Arpaio has his officers actively rounding up illegal immigrants and he is charging them for conspiracy to smuggle themselves into the United States under a new state law on smuggling. Illegal immigration is a MAJOR PROBLEM here in Arizona. Arizona is #1 in illegal border crossings.

Like I said before, start arresting business owners and managers, etc. for employing these people. THEN you'll see this dry up. It's insane to focus only on rounding up these people when good old flag waving Americans are breaking the laws left and right by hiring them.

i read in most of the stings that the immigrants they catch they just let go acouple of days later. sounds like a waste of money. :bad:
