Impact Freshman

Not to count our chickens before they hatch, but who do you guys see as being our impact freshmen? I'm going with Dixon as a kickoff/punt returner. He's at full speed in three or four strides, hits the seams hard, and has good speed.

Milton because of being enrolled early but of those tomorrow. easily Palardy!

I think it will be a guy we signed last year.Big Jaqauri Scholfield a redshirt freshman.

As a true freshman I would like to think Juwaun James. What about JUCOs? I think Dave Clark and John Brown can make an impact off the bat

I think at least 2 freshman o-line will play significant minutes, James being one of them most likely, Robinson if we get him.

i wouldnt be shocked to see Rogers Start every game over either D moore or Jones. hes a deep threat, a good route runner, you can give him a jump ball and hell come back down with it. he has it all.

Plus C miller will get alot of PT and Jacques will play alot of 3-4 if that is what we choose. He could put his hand on the ground and also play LB like Damarcus Ware. really excited about Jacques smith.

Then on the line, Stone (if he commits to us), would get alot of PT at guard if revis or hood dont beat him out. We have alot of tackles out of nowhere! Schofield, Pope, douglas, Fulton, Pair, Jawaun james, and glass potentially if he commits too.
I could see Jawaun james starting from day one since he is a EE.

LT- Douglas
LG- Stone
C- Hood
RG- Pope
RT- Jawaun James

Can schofield play Guard?

oh and Jerod askew as an impact RS frosh. what a beast he could be!

Gosh I hope that is not our starting offensive line next year...

Other than Douglas, I see Jarrod Shaw, Pope, J. Scho., and maybe Dallas Thomas (is he still around?) or Brimfield. Juwuan James will be a good one, though.

Did tennessee get a couple of transfers at TightEnd.I think one of them played at Miami.

Agree. The only two olinemen I ever remember starting as true freshman are munoz and c. Coleman and they had thier struggles. If we have true freshmen playing on the line, we are in trouble. Deep, deep, dark, trouble...........

Loften could be one to watch as well. We are somewhat thin at Safety, at least the position is open. He's a hard hitter and could see some playing time. I think the obvious answer here is Palardy.

I hear we have a good freshman quarterback coming in...I think his name is Jonathan Crompton...maybe that was last year

A wide receiver. Never seen any meaningful play by them, but with the volume of highly evaluated talent, one of them will be a hit. We won't shoot blanks 4 or 5 times. And j green.
