How big is getting Tee Martin on the new coaching staff? With him being the main recruiter of 5* CB Jalen Ramsey of Brentwood Academy and other top area recruits.. Could sway key prospects and push this Recruiting Class into the top ten! Not to mention Tee was the face of our Championship in 98' !!

It would be nice to see him on UT's sideline again. I also hope the new HC keeps Graham. He gave up a solid job at USCe to come and coach at his alma mater. Plus, he has done a fine job with our RBs.

Tee would be a huge get. He is probably the brightest coaching prospect to have been a Vol for a while. Remember that he used to run the very successful Dual Threat QB camp before he joined the college ranks. Martin is smart enough to one day become an OC or a head coach here if he has the opportunity. Lights out recruiter too.

Tee Martin and Jay Graham are KEY names on the upcoming coaching staff...with those two we have the Tennessee feel to the staff...

I think it totally depends on the system that the new coach runs. If we bring on a coach that uses a dual threat QB in his system, then Martin would be a great hire. If not, then I'm not so sure.

He's been WR coach in college. Dude was a pocket passer with wheels when he was here.

Completley agree. Pulling him out from under Kiffin would be a double bonus. I also think that whoever the new hire is, should hold on to Jay Graham. He's done a lot with a very thin group.

As fans it is easy to say we want a former player... as a former player it is actually hard to come home. (to momma)

Former players that are Coaches have a tough call returning to a school they played because it plays an emotional impact on their career. I'm glad Jay did last year and I was surprised. I hope we keep him and his return is not remembered as down time for UT.

He's originally from Alabama so technically Knoxville isn't his home but I think I know what you mean
