Using NASCAR's example of making mid-season changes as my guide, I have decided to amend the rule regarding Mulligans after we have begun. Originally there was to be two allowed, but after seeing how much it affects the standings, I truly believe it is more fair to go back to just one. What ever amount of "skill" is involved is somewhat negated by the Mulligan rule, and allowing two just compounds this. Since the second Mulligan was not to be taken until the second half of the contest, this will not affect the current standings, and gives nor takes any advantage.
The main purpose of the rule was to give someone who was unable to enter a race a chance to still be in contention. I am thinking that once is enough for this as entering timely is part of the contest process.
The current standings with the lowest score dropped are now posted along with those posted previously. It is my wish that all will accept this change as being best for the integrity of the Pick'Em Contest.
