Important changes to Pick’em starting 4/26 – read them!

IMPORTANT CHANGES TO PICK’EM – READ THEM!

From here on out I will be offering “Double Up to Catch UP”. It’s quite simple, you can elect to play STANDARD, 2 points for Weekday Games and 5 Points for Weekend Series or elect to DOUBLE UP, if you select DOUBLE UP, you will be awarded 4 points for correctly predicting the Weekday Games and 10 points for correctly predicting the Weekend Series. However, if you DOUBLE UP and are INCORRECT in your prediction, you will receive -2 points for Weekday Games and -5 for Weekend Series. REPEAT, IF YOU DOUBLE UP AND ARE INCORRECT, YOU RECEIVE NEGATIVE POINTS!

If you do not specify DOUBLE UP in your post, I will assume you want STANDARD PLAY.

All other Rules apply as published, subject to change…..

I will update the Pick’em Points later tonight or tomorrow, still have a big mess on my hands.

Hey Bruin, they are changing the rules in the middle of the season to try and stop us from dominating! This is worse than a NASCAR season!! haha

Can we "double" up the win for today...I haven't figured it mathematically but maybe we could get to .500 that way.

Just think of it as the Double Jeopardy Round. Points are doubled, you either fall behind quickly or pull farther ahead. Plus, I like Chess. Now you really need to pay attention to your competitors and outwit them......maybe make a prediction early and change it before the 1st pitch or the other way around.....

Lol. This is the purest form of flattery. Worse than the kid shooting hoops saying 5, 4, 3 , 2 1 for the win....... brick..... oh he was fouled and will go to the line to try and win the game.
