1. adding 12th game.
2. 5 years to play 5 no redshirts
3. 20 scholarships per year no total team limit.

If 5 for 5 passes and the 20 per year then each team would have 100 scholarship players at their disposal since everyone could stay for 5 years. Now that would vary depending on flunk outs, early exits and transfers. but also it would help those deserving walk on's get a scholarship without taking away from the next year.

Interesting concept. Are they looking at this for 2005 or later?

Depends on which one but I would say 2006 at earliest.
5 fo 5 could actually start with the Feb. 2005 signing class
12th game maybe 2005 but more likely 2006
20 schollys probably 2006 signing class

Extra games like the SECCG and the season where there were 12 regular season games have already enabled several career records to be broken. The 5 for 5 rule will definately aid in shattering career records, imho.

For example, take away these extra games and

Peyton Manning would have 38 career wins instead of 39.
and David Greene would be sitting at 36 career wins right now instead of 39. Ainge currently has 4 career wins, but with a 5th year, he would almost definately shatter the record.
