Who impressed you? Who didn't?

Here's my list in descending order from most impressive to least:

Under Armour Game

***Landon Dickerson - most impressive o-line prospect in this class.....passes the eye test with flying colors.....kid has no gut.....looks strong and athletic.....very light on his feet for a big guy......immediate starter if necessary.....future pro IMO

***BJ Emmons - explosive.....low base.....hits the hole hard.....reminds me of Ezekiel Elliot.....both in terms of build but also explosiveness.....really wish we can flip him because this kid will be a SUPERSTAR.....hands down the best RB in this class.....would be a worthy successor to Hurd

***Jarrett Guarantano - didn't show much in the game but was spectacular in the skills competition.....has all the physical attributes you could ask for.....tall....athletic.....and a cannon for an arm.....has the potential to be a more polished Colin Kaepernick.....special player.....not too many come along this gifted

***Marquill Osborne - great hips....fluid in his backpedal.....closes well.....ceiling not as high as the other 3 because he lacks ideal height.....I think he's destined to be a nickel corner.....a more consistent Malik Foreman sounds about right

Army game

***Mecole Hardman - he's as good as advertised.....explosive, quick, and shifty.....in other words the ideal slot receiver.....day 1 starter if we're fortunate to land him.....he'll be making a big mistake if he plays anything other than wide receiver.....the Antonio Brown comparisons are right on the mark.....he even has a similar gait when he runs.....greatness lies ahead for this young man

***Nigel Warrior - explosive looking athlete.....passes the eye test like Landon Dickerson.....they worked him at nickel at the game for some reason.....he did all right though he got lost a couple of times.....he'll be a safety though and a damn good one.....will definitely be one of the best looking athletes we field next year

***Derrick Brown - needs to work on his conditioning like nearly every college lineman.....reminds me of what Shy Tuttle looked like at the spring game.....you can see the talent is there but he needs to get his body in better shape

Tuned in to the Army game for just a moment and saw Mecole drop an easy pass over the middle. His separation and speed looked amazing but his hands not so much. Just one play, I know, but hands of stone can derail the careers of otherwise great receivers.

Tyler Byrd, a Miami CB commit looked really good in the Army Bowl. I believe Coach Scott was his primary recruiter.

His future is at CB.

Has nothing to do with his hands either.

His size, instincts, speed and agility make a future 1st round pick at CB. As a WR is would be good as well.
But talent like his needs to be on defense, shutting his enitre side of the field down

Byrd's also a high school teammate of Carlin Fils-Aime, and the two have apparently lived together since 8th grade. Accordingly to Fils-Aime, "We wanted to play together, but I'm stuck with Tennessee. They're home for me. Just like Miami's home for him."

Maybe Byrd reconsiders...

I thought he looked really bad on defense at the practices. Was that not the case?

I see your point and it is a good one. I can see CB all day. Problem is if he goes to bama it will take a RS yr to learn the system and then after that Saban will keep recruiting the position.

If he doesn't see the field by his RS freshman year there is a chance he could get recruited over. But like I said I do see CB but to see the field early it will prolly be at WR. I do believe this kid is SPECIAL just like everyone else

If we miss Warrior, Brown, Hill, Dickerson, and a good WR that would be awful. I think we get Warrior though.
