Over the past 3 weeks I have seen some major improvements by a couple of guys:

Steven Pearl - He has always hustled and been aggressive, but now he is starting to make plays. He has gotten more comfortable and seems to have learned to finish, which is good because he finds openings in the defense and cuts really well. His passing has looked good, too. He hasn't shot any free throws lately, so I can't comment on that.

Brian Williams - He is like a new man after his suspension. Makes you wonder what was said to him. He has gotten ten times more aggressive, has been passing the ball really well, and seems a little quicker. I like his one hand slams, however, I would like to see him get tougher when he has the ball in his hands and finish plays. He is starting to look like he may turn into the player CBP thinks he can be.

I agree for the most part. Although, I am tired of seeing B Will almost make his layups from posting up. He needs to start getting them to go down.

Melvin Goins seems to have improved as well. He looked very nervous and indecisive out there the first couple months of the season, but looks much more comfortable now and that is leading to him being more aggressive.

Pearl reminds me of Lebron James, only he's completely different. :naughty:

I agree that Goins has gotten more confident. He tries to create, and I believe that will be important to the team next season.

Goins is most improved by light years. Maze is second.

Maze's ability to attack the basket has been key. He had two really key buckets in the second half of the UK game.

His defense is still suspect, but he has improved tremendously since he set foot on campus.
