Corn Nuggets aren't exactly just a Kansas thing.

They're not a Kansas thing at all. I was born and raised in Kansas. The first time I ever ate Corn Nuggets was in southern Miss. visiting my in-laws.

The Original Jefferson's Restaurant first opened in Jacksonville, AL. They have restaurants in Alabama (2), Georgia, Kansas and Illinois. I think it is safe to say Corn Nuggets is a southern thing since I don't see them routinely on Kansas menus.

Home town is in NW Mo. Ate the hound dog out of corn nuts. When they started flavoring them is when I lost interest.

If it was 40 years ago I'd say the south has the market. And they were called Corn Nuts. Not nuggets.
