We should be able to beat Vandy . We gotta win these last 2 . Our backs are against the wall as far as making a bowl . Hopefully we come out fighting . I think we will

Speaking defensively and special team wise, the current UT apple has fallen quite a distance (nearly out of sight) from the Neyland tree.

Only two more games and we get a fresh reload of 30 players that have talent,speed and have not been subjected to a culture of losing. Things ae gonna get better!

Yeah, having those Berry twins are going to make a difference for next year. Maybe they can come in on special teams play & make a tackle at kick-off.

:) Glad we didn't add Texas A&M to our schedule this year. It would take a whole month off to prepare for those guys.

Based upon what exactly? Who should the Vols be able to beat Vandy?

This is not the Vandy of your [ or my] youth. CBJ should bring in a past player every day to relate their Vandy rivalry experience. Start with Tim Priest [ who you'll remember HATES Vandy] and move to Al Wilson, Leonard Little, etc. Those remaining kids on the team who lost last year need to know of the deep Vandy hatred from much of the entire Vol nation.

Vandy is no push over but I agree we need a week off the team has looked like there outa gas since the bamer game.

Ya know that's the problem w/some posters on here this year. We should be able to stay up w/Oregon & maybe beat them this year. We should beat Missouri they don't look so tough. We should beat Auburn they don't look so tough. We should beat Vandy they aren't so tough. Then we go out & get curbed stomped by not playing up to potential. Vandy beat a Florida team today pretty bad at Florida something we sure as hell can't seem to ever do. I wish some on here would just STFU & get real please.

The last time we won at the Swamp, Spurrier was the coach and Claussen was our qb. Vandy is real and we will need to play our best to win the game. A Butch -coached team is 10-1 after a bye week ( hope that holds up) . If the team has quit , well , that's a different situation.

So just to clarify because Auburn, Mizzou and Alabama have rolled us that means Vandy is going to beat us? I guess Vandy has the same offensive and defensive power that those teams have right?

Good to know. If that were the case how come they are not atop the SEC east?
