I'm really digging on some Raconteurs right now and there's some good stuff out there. I highly recommend Leeds.

I've got some Zeppelin and all of the quintessential Floyd. I'm looking for something a little different with some great guitar work and I don't really care what style. (I tend to shy away from the more mainstream stuff, Boston Kansas, Nickelback.

What say ye music lovers?

You'd love the Jonas Brothers. They cater to the gay community very well from what I've heard.

Some early Sammy Hagar or some Stevie Ray Vaughan. Chuck Berry or some Stray Cats AKA the Brian Setzer Orchestra.

You want "live" albums?

Pick up Dire Straits "Alchemy". iTunes doesn't have it but Amazon has a downloadable version. It's a great album and a great live recording/performance.

Free Music : Download & Streaming : Live Music Archive : Internet Archive

I use this for live shows of Yonder Mountain String Band and other various artists.. Some recordings are decent at best, but some are CD quality. Best part is, its all free, and there is no risk of viruses or getting a piracy letter.

edit: also, you can stream them before downloading the show to make sure you want to download it. good stuff.

Lynyrd Skynyrd's "One more from the Road".

Some great guitar riffs and some of the best lyrics ever written.

Keep the suggestions coming. No one has said Grand Funk Railroad yet. Any particular shows stand out?

A must have:

Official Robert Johnson Web site, MS Delta blues singer legend, Foundation.

Go to the trouble to find the two box set:

Johnson's music lives on through his recordings, which were first released as a compilation by Columbia Records in the 1960's. In 1990 a complete two-CD box set of all his recordings (every take of every song) was released and over a million sets were sold. His music also lives on through the many blues musicians alive today -- old and young, throughout the United States and around the world.
