Is that really such a big stretch? Soon as he got past that heartthrob phase he was always considered a serious actor.

Agree. But I think it just got taken up a notch to...lets add him to the list of "among the best of this generation".

Just got back from seeing this. This movie was awesome. The whole premise of it is great. The action sequences were very well done. I do think it could've been shortened a bit but yeah, thoroughly enjoyed it.

Can't say I really cared for it. Well made movie, I just wasn't digging the story. Seemed borderline silly to me. It was also a bit too long.

Among the best...A multi-layered awaking, with depth. If I was him, I would move and spin that damn thing at least once a day for the rest of my days.

That is a hell of a statement, considering some of the consensus best films ever made are deliberately intellectually challenging, if not total mind-benders.
