Do you think AJ will get alot of PT since were losing thompson and nick

I think it's very hard for a true freshman to get significant playing time at LB.

That being said, he will see the field some. Our depth at LB is gonna be bad next year and he will definitely be in the 3-deep. At best, he could move into the 2-deep if Vereen, Mitchell-Thornton, and Askew all continue to lay down.

I have a good feeling about Jordan Williams. I think his athleticism puts him in the mix quickly. I am hoping for a Jac Smith/Corey Miller type of contribution next year. To be honest though, I would LIKE to see some help for the secondary. Watching Saturday was painful.

...based on oppertunity:

1. Freshman = Special Teams = special return man (Dallas/Young/Coleman/Arnett (hopefully))
2. D-Line = TBD, not committed yet (Wright/Johnson)
3. Tight End = Power/Clear (maybe)

again, not commited, but close: Maurice Couch would be major impact player IMO

On offense with the QB situation Worley could come and make an immediate impact. Really hope his transition from HS to college is quick. Dude puts up some awesome HS numbers and the WR corp will be strong. On defense I don't know where to start. The need is great everywhere but biggest needs could be secondary and LB. Who knows what NSD will bring.

We are to a point where if any of these guys can help...we have to get em on the field.

Any TE, WR, OL, DL, LB, DB's could play right away. And if they aren't in the 2 deep at their position...our special teams needs an immediate overhaul.

Obvious answer for me would be AJ, given our depth at LB, but I also like Dallas in the slot role and/or as a returner.

right now it's set up to probably be lathers, Johnson and king next season, but if he can pick up the system quick enough he should get PT at LB and on special teams. I would like to see him on the field because he has a ton of athletic ability and speed that our LB corp REALLY needs. I’ve heard several people say he will end up playing DE when he gets here. is there any truth to that? some have said it's due to him wanting PT as a true freshman and the log jam of LBs we will have next year with Daryl Vereen, Robert Nelson, Nigel Mitchell-Thornton, Martaze Jackson, Jerod Askew, Raiques Crump, John Propst and Christian Harris backing up the 3 i said earlier. anyone have any info on this?

I am not trying to disparage the kid but his arm strength will have to be developed for him to be an effective SEC QB. He will not beat Bray out IMO. Bray has a much stronger and more accurate arm. He did in HS as well.

Bray prob has an advantage in arm strength, but I would say that once Worley learns how to step into his throws his arm strength will step up along with it. Accuracy is a toss up, they actually play in pretty similar "dink and dunk" short passing offenses.

The thing that sets Worley FAR APART from Bray is his leadership and the "IT" factor. The refuse to lose attitude and the never quit philosophy he has makes him a much better prospect, especially at QB. IMO, if Bray would have been more dedicated from the start and had his head in the right place, there would be no question he would be the starting QB right now, hands down.

You hear so much about a kid having "potential", but very few actually realize it. That's the difference between the Ryan Leafs of the world and the Peyton Mannings.... JMHO
