Incoming signees

Just curious who we had coming in for next year. Of course, the draft can always change things, but I was just trying to get an idea of what our class looked like. Didn’t know how many big boppers we had coming in. Also curious about the catcher position . Didn’t know if we had any new ones coming in. Thanks and BEAT LIBERTY!!! #GB️

NM. I found a list of the signees and it looks like we have some really good ones. I already knew about Brady House and Chase Burns. Don’t know if we will get to see them in orange, but it would be great if we did.

House won’t make it to Knoxville. He’s a sure fire top 10 pick and maybe #1 overall.

Burns is likely going pro too, but I’m seeing him projected lower than 1st round now, so there’s hope with him.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking too. I heard that Chase May make it to campus. That would be huge if he decided to.

Yes it would. Having Burns and Tidwell as the top 2 starters would be huge. If Leath comes back…wow.

Delmonico had a problem of recruiting guys that were too good and never stepped foot on campus. Just because you can sign players like that doesn’t mean you should.

I think most schools do. There is no signing limit, so you don’t lose anything by signing House even if he never sets foot on campus.
The key is evaluating and signing the next tier. Some are better than others at that.

It’s not a problem. You have to sign them. If they go, then fine. But if you get a few every once in a while to come to school, then it’s a huge bonus.
