"The conundrum that is Tennessee revealed itself again on Thursday in the second round of the SEC tournament.

The Lady Vols -- the same team that just four days ago beat Mississippi State, a projected No. 2 NCAA tournament seed, by 18 points on the road -- lost 72-64 to Alabama."

Inconsistency continues to plague Tennessee Lady Vols

Soak it all in Lady Vol fans. This is the present and future of Tennessee Lady Volunteer basketball just as long as Holly Warlick is the coach.

Resistance is futile. :)

Guess we'll see if they pack it in or come out with renewed purpose. If the LVs stay a 7 seed in SCAR's bracket, they have a decent path to the S16 or E8-- much better than being a 6 seed in UConn's bracket. But they could just as easily lose to Indiana in R1.

Who the LVs play doesn't matter anymore. They just have to win.

My guess is that they make the NCAA tourney.

Tennessee has an opportunity to actually win 4 games and make it to the Final Four. I'm excited to see if that actually happens. I don't have any trust in Holly, though. That's the problem. I'm so unsure. I just don't know anymore. No confidence, a direct reflection of the coach and team.

The LVs are definitely in the NCAAT. The bad loss yesterday just dropped them to a 7 seed. They could drop a little more, but probably not.
