In basketball, sure. Not so much in football. We played them for 20 years straight in football. Won like, 9 of the last 11 and they begged out of the contract. That stadium in Bloomington is the worst. Like an oversized high school stadium. And always was empty. There were often times there were more Kentucky fans in it than Indiana fans, kind of like a Vandy home game. There was a bourbon barrel trophy in the 80s and 90s.

It might make for an interesting football game but UT would school them in basketball and this opinion comes from a Rick Barnes hater. Sorry about the Rick Barnes comment guys but old habits/rivalries die hard.

It’s unclear what the point of this is or where this tradition is headed.

Seems clear to me. It's an Antifa(esque) attempt to force the state, or Feds, to build a new modern stadium.
