Not sure if this has been brought up yet, but would anyone with a scout subscription care to fill us in on how their visits went. Or anyone who has info please share. (LV)or whoever

I posted info in eachs players threads but I'll post it here too.

Newberry- Said he enjoyed his visit, really likes Chuck Smith. He said he is still commited to FSU but has Tennessee a close 2nd.

Jackson - Really loved the visit, especially the atmosphere at the stadium. He loves how he could come in & play early because of how thin we are on the OL. He said he is still commited to Miam but giving Tennessee alot of thought

Bellamy - Said he enjoyed the visit, really likes Dooley. Said he came because Tennessee was his first offer & first school to really go after him. Said he is 150% commited to Clemson.

Probably just taking visits. Can't blame them, but you never know.

I posted in Blakely's thread but it has been dead for awhile. Someone in another forum I visit posted that there is a hot rumor going around that Mike Blakely may switch from UF to Tennessee. Anyone heard anything about this?

They're probably confusing Blakely with Bellamy.

From what I have seen I wouldn't trade Tom Smith for Blakely. Bellamy and Bigelow and Crowell are the only 3 rb's i would take over Smith at this point.

Maybe Bellamy will only be 50% committed to Clemson by NSD. Then it's a coin toss and we get him.

Or maybe a chance for Crowell?

Crowell isn't even a pipe dream. Unless your smoking crack, but in that case I would put the pipe down. :)

I think we were in very good shape w/ Jackson... if you read the article on him he was pumped about every aspect of tennessee he saw....i think we pull him

Correct. If anything happens with Bellamy, it will not be soon. It will be after the season is over and Clemson makes changes to their staff.

Which is likely to happen, hope to see him switch and become a VOL!

From what I've read we could be playing clemson in a bowl, maybe a big win over them could help sway bellamy our way. Would love to add another great back to our already strong backfield
