Rumors (I know, but with injuries it’s the best we can get at this point):

Squirrel broken collarbone.
Bru broken fingers and bruised ribs
Eason ACL tear

If true, looks like we’ll see Mike Matthews.

Eason’s injury, while devastating for the kid, could be a blessing in disguise. He can come back next year, and almost certainly will now, to bolster the DT position. We’re so deep there this season, that it’s not a huge blow.

Losing Bru for any extended time could really hurt, though.

Heard on the VQ podcast that one of our WRs (can’t remember who they said, probably squirrel) left in a cast and sling or something to that effect.

Not trying to throw shade, hope everyone is ok.

But this was the year our WR depth was set & talent finally good. I know Bru is a tough SoB, and has bad luck.

And I'm only saying this when healthy. Didnt play like a group that was overly talented, or dynamic.

Oh, the what ifs had we landed Williams or kid in TX!

I am severely underwhelmed by this group of WR's. Maybe some of that is scheme? Maybe its running up the middle every other play? Maybe they're just paper tigers?

Additionally, seeing tackles we missed out on - like kid at Michigan State - every miss on the trail, just adds up, just only highlights pur deficiencies imo.

Matthews had 14 snaps Saturday but zero looks.

Bru is planning to play. Will tape up fingers and give it a go.

I have faith in Nimrod at the slot. In fact, I think he’s looked better than Squirrel this year in limited chances.

Nobody has wanted to hear it all year but our WRs were the most overrated position group on the team headed into the season. I’m not saying they suck. They were just overhyped. Last year they were the worst unit on the team, but once we signed Brassell a lot of people thought our problems were solved. Silly.

Squirrel left with a trainer helping support his arm, sure looked like a shoulder or collarbone injury as indicated by OP.
