VJax had X-Rays today, they came back negative, but has an MRI scheduled for tomorrow. CDS is on the road recruiting in west Tennessee so the info is being relayed to him...he said the trainer said it looks like a worse injury than the one Vincent had last year on the other hand. It could be weeks before he comes back.
Andy Cox has a strained oblique. He is making the trip but is not likely to be available for fear of making the injury worse.
Based on his comments I think we will see a major shake up in the rotation, I think Marks will be moved to Saturday. Hunter Martin will get the start versus Arky St. because he didn't pitch much last weekend. He stated that Lee and KS only pitched 3 innings, Lee only pitching one, that will have to change.
We'll have to see... couple the performance of the starters last weekend and the injury to Cox, the rotation is going to look much different this weekend.
This is a great opportunity for Derek Lance, hope he makes the most of it. He's a good outfielder, fast and could be the answer in the lead off spot.
