How is his recovery and what is his latest diagnosis/prognosis? I haven't heard anything since it happened.

he's in school. After the last surgery he had, the prognosis is that he most likely will not ever have full use of his arm and hand and he will not play ball again. But his attitude is great, he's a super kid with the kindest disposition ever. He has a strong faith that carries him. He will always be one of my favorite guys on that team.

Although he can't play, he is going to remain a member of the team until he graduates isn't he?

I was highly impressed with the things I heard Inky saying/doing after it occurred. He and Justin both "played like heck" for all of us. :)

He remains on scholarship and receives everything any other player receives. To his credit, he continues to do community service events. Two weeks ago, he, Arian and Jerrod Mayo did the Children's Hospital Telethon. I think that speaks volumes for Inky since he is not required to do that.

Fostermom, how is Arian doing this offseason? Arian is one of my favorite guys on the team and cant wait to see him plow over guys again next year.

I hate it so much when a player is injured - regardless of the severity of the injury - and regardless of the team they play for. These are just kids, playing their hearts out for our entertainment. We love them all even if they do need a spanking from time to time. Didn't we all?

He's doing well. They are already doing morning runs as a team. He's going to try to drop some weight this summer (maybe 10 pounds, which would put him at about 215) and will take the summer away from Knoxville to work on his speed. He had a rough year this last year (I call it a character building year:hmm: ) but he's matured a lot, seems to have learned the appropriate things and is ready to come back and earn his spot back.

From what I could tell about the incident on the strip that many people gave him hell about, he was just trying to keep his brothers out of trouble. I saw great character in how he handled that. I hope Arian has some great success on the field this year! I think you've already given him what he needs to have success off the field. :)

I wish the best for Arian he was my neighbor last semester. He's a good guy. Any college student would have done the same thing Arian did, he just has a target on his back.

Inky is a great guy that has handled the whole situation with class and dignity. He'll never be able to play ball again but he well get his degree.
