I know most of you roll your eyes at my Pac-10 propaganda, but G**DAMN GO BEAVERS! I am loving this. Up by fourteen points in the first ten minutes.

I am loving it too! Even though this makes Tennessee look even worse, I don't care. I love to see Notre Dame lose. Oregon State looks good tonight. They still need a good kicker though.

He's not doing that bad. One bad kick, one made, and any 50+ FG is a tall order. Serna will get better in time.

You are right. I am still mad at him for not putting LSU in their place early this season.

The Beavers didn't get the win then, but they certainly out-played LSU. Poor Serna got so much crap around here... My school has pretty heavy ties to Oregon State, he got crap talked about him for over a month. If you even brought up a Beavers game, it would somehow end in "Well, we'd be a lot better off if Serna didn't suck!" A lot of harsh feelings there.

Probably true, too. Beavers would have finished the regular season ranked if they pulled out the LSU win. Their average computer ranking is like 22nd or 23rd.

Yeah I almost felt sorry for him, but if he couldn't handle the pressure then he should not have put himself in that situation. 24 -14 and the Beavers are about to score again. That will put the nail in the coffin.

Dont say anything just yet. Our running game is non-existent, and ND's d-line has been looking pretty decent tonight.

That was close, who do you like better? Oregon or Oregon State? Do you like one more than the other?

Oregon State. It's kind of a giant-killer thing... And pretty heated. I think the Oregon vs. Oregon State rivalry is the third oldest in the nation... 108 years old now. Anyways, ever since the Ducks started getting supermassive grants from Nike, it's been kind of a special thing to see Oregon State, the team with the tiny stadium (holds all of 20,000 I think) in podunk Corvallis, Oregon go out and beat Oregon, huge benefactors of Nike, recepients of huge coprorate grants and until recently, a national powerhouse. This year was especially great because it has essentially marked the end of Oregon's era of dominance in the Pac-10, as Oregon State's victory in the Civil War knocked Oregon out of bowl eligibility.

My view on the rivalry is similar to your guys' view on Auburn. While you want nothing more than to beat them, you root for them outside of the conference because they're representing your conference.

I'm still glad Oregon did as well as they did in the end of the nineties and I'm proud that Joey Harrington came out of this great state.

So yeah... just some random stuff on Oregon football.

That's interesting. I usually pull for the SEC teams in the bowl games, but I am not pulling for Auburn. Two reasons, I would like to see their season end on a sour note and my Dad is Hokie. So I do some part time charity work pulling for them.
