Which would you rather have?

  1. Mostly instate class ranked 15th in the nation
  2. Mostly out of state class ranked 5th in the nation
  3. 50/50 ranked 10th

It's a trick question.

I don't give a damn about where we are ranked. All that recruiting ranking really ends up being many times is a glorified peeing for distance contest that star gazers live for. I have seen too many highly ranked classes full of busts.

Nor do I care about where the players are from. Do we want in-state guys? Yeah, we all want some kid we watch on Friday night end up in Orange, but does it mean it is best for Tennessee? Not always.

I want the best players who are committed to giving their all, have the good common sense to know right from wrong (or are adept at staying out of trouble), and want to be at Tennessee.

Another pointless poll.

Well, it isn't the MOST pointless poll we have ever had. It seems to be a tradition for some. I kinda get where you are going with this one, though.
