Apparently, this is going to be the most successful camp Pearl has had during his tenure. Here is a list of attendees according to Brent Hubbs:

Tony Parker
Alex Polythress
Jernell Stokes
Kevin Ware
Chris Jones
Shannon Hale- (Class of 2013 from Science Hill)
Jeremy Hollowell--6'7 SF from Indianapolis
Junior Lomomba-6'4 G from Madison, Wisconsin
Braxton Ogbueze--6' Charlotte, NC
Brandon Bolden (6-9, Sumter, S.C.)
Jordan Adams (6-2 guard, Lawrenceville, Ga.)
Ron Patterson (6-3 guard, Indianapolis, Ind.)
Austin Nichols (6-7 forward, Memphis)
Devin Davis (6-4 guard, Indianapolis)
Desmond Ringer (6-9, Mcdonough, Ga.)
Basil Smotherman (6-4 guard, Indianapolis, Ind.)

That is a very impressive list.

Parker is ours to lose IMO. He has said that Tennessee and UCONN lead but given the troubles at UCONN and distance being on our side, I like our chances.

Shannon Hale is only a rising sophomore from Science Hill, but he is said to be all-Vol as well. As a FR, he is already in the 6-7, 6-8 range and an excellent all-around game.

I like to see all that Indy on the list.

Lots of Pearl fans from Indiana who remember that DII championship.

I have a friend that plays AAU with Shannon he says Shannon doesn't talk to scouts anymore because he likes us so much.

There is a thread on TOS (rumor for now) that Jordan Adams committed this weekend...any word on that?

Apparently, the consensus on TOS is that he doesn't have an offer as of yet, but he is saying that if he gets an offer, he will commit.

Thanks for putting up the list LawVol, also I know that it's very early but how many of those players that you listed could be 5 stars by the time that the 2012 rankings come out.

I'm not sure about the 2012 guys. I'm sure Hat and some of the other guys on here could help out with that question.

Patterson, Hollowell, Poythress, and Lomomba all have 5-star potential. Still is too early to make a definitive determination because they can develop so much in the next two years. There are also many prospects who have yet to be discovered. Trae Golden was a top 10 player as a sophomore and Major Wingate was the #1 player in his class as a freshman.

Parker is too much of a tweener to end up as a 5 star, though he is very good. He is just undersized as a center. Jordan Adams kind of came on as a sophomore and how he does on larger stage (Oak Hill, Wheeler, or Norcross) will determine where he winds up.
