Verne drives me crazy. Danielson is OK as he at least provides a QB's insight.

Your thoughts?

They both have man-love for Tebow which is enough to make anybody puke.
They can be calling a Miss St vs. Vandy game and still come up with, "Y'know, Gary, I was talking to Urban Meyer the other day about Tebow's breakfast routine..."

BUT.. I would rather watch those two than listen to, say, Brent Mussberger.

They get on my nerves a little bit. Mainly because they screw up so much. They can't get names right. They miss obvious things on the field like whether the runner got enough for the first down when he was obviously 2 yards past the sticks, etc...

Overall, I don't mind them too much, but them missing obvious stuff on the field does get to me sometimes. I am guessing it bothers me more when the Vols are not doing too good that day, lol

What really bothers me about CBS is the crappy signal!!! The picture looks like I am using rabbit ears from the 70s or something.

I think cbs does a much better job than abc, but they have totally slipped in their excitement.

I'm not sure if they changed producers or what not, but they used to have the most exciting and cool intro's to games. It would about make u run through a wall. Now there is nothing, if anything it is really lame. Anybody know what happened?

Also, I liked Todd Blackledge much better than Danielson. Verne is senile, but ok, he's not boring and has been doing it so long that he has kinda stuck on me.

I cant stand listening to that pair of clowns. I will mute the tv on saturday and will listen to kesling over the internet. I know that isnt much better but I really loathe lundquist and danielson's commentating.

The early lines for the over/under on Tebow being mentioned is at 42.

I'm taking the over.

If a player fumbles the ball on the 1 yard line, does that make it an incomplete pass?

Time for a change IMO.

When I hear Verne, I think, "Laettner.......GOOD!!!"

Not a fan.

Danielson is such a Big 10 shill, can't stand listening to him.

Enjoyed Eric Collins and Brock Huard last week calling the UK/Auburn game. Very knowledgeable and insightful. Also like to listen to David Diaz-Infante.

Musberger is great.

I am seriously thinking about muting my tv and listening to Kesling on the radio. As bad as Kesling is, I much rather listen to him than these clowns

I have nothing to say about this. I just want you to know that you have the best username of all time, wish I would have thought of it.

Thanks! The wife actually thought of it for me a few years back and I've been using it for everything since.

I actually like the combo. The incomplete pass comment by Verne was funny though.

I can take or leave Verne. I like Danielson, as I think he often just calls things like he sees them. I also like Blackledge.

I can't stand Lundquist the Hutt. Mussburger is worse, though.

I still remember him "shooting his wad" (In corso terms) over that little league world series where that kid turned out to be like 21. Mussburger was to Danny Almonte what Lundquist/Danielson is to Tebow.

And if Mussburger did UF games, it'd be like watching the dudes on NBC calling the Notre Dame games during the Tyrone Willingham era and still called their qbs "legendary."
