Have any of the national figures (Al and Jesse first and foremost) than came out against these kids ever apologized for anything they made a mistake on?

The lax players still said some reprehensible stuff that warrants at least some admonishment. Maybe not an appearance by the wonder twins, but the team was no group of angels.

Agreed. They came across as elitist snobs, which are also reprehensible, but not as much so as a fake rape charge that makes national news and ruins the kid's names. No doubt, the B%$$# And N$%$R words were used in unfriendly terms to the young lady in question, along with a few others...The story is ugly all around, but there's the truth, and the falsities...i don't doubt at all that the persons in question were guilty of conduct unbecoming of a human, but this doesn't constitute rape
