Interesting Article in News Sentinnel

Hey guys. I don't know how many of you live in Knoxville or get the Sentinnel delivered but there was an interesting article today about us and Leak.
It was talking about how Leak was playing only his second game at UT and how a little over four years ago hearing that would have seemed so weird to UT fans who were certain he was coming here. It talked about how it all changed in that game against Georgia and it stated that we've been 31-16 since and Florida has been 30-16.
Anyway, the point of the article is that the situation has turned out kind of sour on both sides. It talked about how we would almost certainly have been better because we wouldn't have had the QB issues we've had and Leak would have been better off because he would fit in better in our offense.
It was just an interesting article to me. Ever since he pulled the krap he did on ESPN.com I have truly disliked him. I've never really thought how differant things might be if not for that day in Georgia.

i remember a kid named sims doing the same thing and heading to the longhorns....to be kind, he chose poooorly....have always wondered if leaks career would have similar fate at fl....he has one more chance this year.

Leak had a blog or something during his recruitment that he posted regularly on ESPN.com...and after the UGA game when we pulled his big brother, he came on bashed TN for not leaving in his brother and basically said that TN had lied to him....and his brother, and was pulling his name from consideration for TN....

He had a weekly diary thing he wa doing for them as a senior in high school. Every week he would go in a talk about his game that week and how the recruiting process. He always said in that diary that UT was the team to beat and pretty much that he was coming here. Then after the Georgia he had some pretty nasty things to say about UT and said that he wasn't sure were he was going but it definitely wasn't UT. Then he turns around and goes to one of our biggest rivals. He pretty much acted like a cry baby and spoke as if our coaches should coach around his recruitment.
