EDIT: He may also overestimate our attentiveness to detail, as I just spent 5 minutes looking for the article on si.com.

It was a strange, puff-piece article, but I do think it points out the fact that the kid probably gets a bad rap. He is an outstanding player on the court, and I've never heard of any trouble out of him off of the court. He reminds me a bit of JJ Riddick last year, in that it is hard to figure out why opposing fans seem to hate him personally rather than just as an adversary.
