Interesting article re: Eric Ainge

Looks like he's saying he'd get some votes, not win it. If Ole Miss winds up a Top 15 program I could see him getting a lion's share of credit, assuming he is admitted to school there. I kind of thought the whole article was a real fluff piece but I figured some people would be excited to see a Vol listed in someone's Top 5.

Did the writer really suggest Brent Schaeffer for Heisman?!

Eh, no, but if Ole Miss is in the TOP FIFTEEN, he'd have to be having an absurd year.

I agree with the "fluff piece" assessment on this one.

He lost me at "everything appears right again in the world where the end zones are checkered." Did I miss something, or are we coming off a 5-6 season with an unconfident QB, new coaches, inexperience at linebacker, lack of depth up front, receivers with flippers for hands, and 3 injured tailbacks?

I'm not predicting doom-and-gloom, but let's get a couple of W's before saying that "all is right," K?

after a redshirt year in Provo, some LDS missions, switching schools, then holding a clipboard while Drew Olson tore it up last season, the 6-foot-5, 235-pound lefty is only a redshirt sophomore (at age 23).
