that sounds like a great schedule but very hard. We are coming off a bad finish and are losing talent it will be interesting to see how Pearl handels this.

This is great news for your program over the long haul. To get media respect, and then looks from big time talent, you need to be perceived as playing a tough schedule and succeeding. UT took an ENORMOUS step forward in that direction this year and next year looks even better for getting you in the limelight. This will pay dividends for the team years into the future when those talented Tennessee high schoolers start thinking they can play close to home for a program that wins, gets on tv, and gets into the tournament. It is also, I say once again, good reason to swallow your instinct and root for SEC teams postseason.

I love the schedule because to become a elite basketball program you need to play and beat the nations best. Good to get some great games and matchups at home. The Preseason NIT should be very interesting. The thing I'm wanting is many more national tv games and more carried on Full Court.
