Interesting tidbit about ND

According to an ND insider I met yesterday while watching the NFL games at a South Bend sports bar, Muffet's hubby Matt, posts under the handle "traditionnevergraduates" at NDNation. Says his style is very low key and coy, as to not to arouse any suspicions, all the while acting as the board "watch dog". I had to crack up when I got back to the room and looked up at some of the recent posts he has made:

"Can anyone report on how they (LV's) play? I haven't seen them this year, are they inside or outside?"

And before that he posted this:

"What can we expect from the Hurricanes?"

Wow, is this how Muffet and ND scouts their opponents these days? They have their watchdog solicit reports from fans on message boards? I hope his scouting report to his wife/Muffet for the LV's is as bad as the one he provided her for the the Miami game (ND lost by double-digits)!! lol: LOL

Just chuckling at some "bulletin board material" that I just took down from an elevator I was riding in at the team hotel, which cleverly announced a "Free Women's Basketball Clinic tonight at the Joyce Center, 7:00pm...'Lady Volunteers 'needed'". If I see CHW or any of the assistant coaches in the lobby I will be sure to pass it along.

In past years, I would have agreed that the LV's will probably be schooled by the Irish. But to be honest, while the LV's have definitely been offensively-challenged at times, I think they play much better TEAM defense than in year's past, and I will definitely be disappointed if they are not competitive in this game (i.e. winning or keeping it under 10 pts).

Muffet: Dang Matt, our on-line scouting report said that the LVs never go to the post on their offensive sets and that Massengale can't shoot threes. But Harrison, Graves and Massengale killed us. How can this be?
