Interim spending bill; Johnson at risk?

Speaker Johnson has proposed a clean bill to fund the government through December. This comes after they could not pass one with Trump's desired SAVE Act.

The problem for Johnson may well be that Dems are coming out so strongly in support of the clean bill.

Unless something completely out of left field, Johnson is safe till after election. Team Trump is not going want any stirring of the waters atm and any would be rebel understands that Trump knows how to keep a grudge.

SAVE act is theatre anyway till we have a President who would sign it. Crazy idea only citizens voting in elections.
