US Army Bases In Europe Ban Atlas Without Explanation - Atlas Shrugs

Not everyone in the Army is such a dhimmi as those who put this ban in place. In October the United States Marine Corps presented me with the flag flown on September 11th over Camp Leatherneck, "amid the battlefields of Afghanistan during decisive operations against enemy forces in Helmand Province."

Can you imagine such an honor? But there's more. When a soldier at Camp Leatherneck heard that I was to be given the flag, he asked that the MP armband (seen here) that he wore before he lost his arm in combat be sent along with the flag. I was presented with both.

The military bans all kinds of sites; ESPN was banned for a while in 2009.

Do they normally post any reason for the censorship?

Do you have a link to establish that ESPN was indeed banned in 2009?

No.

No. I do know that I had to go through Yahoo sports to get up to the minute scores though.

No, they don't have to. The army does things like this all the time without a revealed reason.
