unfortunately i'll be in HOuston for work this weekend and will miss the TN game and likely most all the 1st and 2nd round games, but there were several match ups and possible match ups that realy peaked my interest.......

AZ/Purdue...tough one, but for some reason, i like Purdue...

MD/Davidson....logic says MD should win.....and i'm picking them...but i truly wouldn't be surprised if Davidson won that game.

KY/Nova....hm.....early exit for KY???

Va Tech/Ill.....again, VT should win...but i think Ill gets this one.

Ind/Gonz--could be a great game...esp. if you like perimiter play...

Marq/Mich St.--this could be a great game too.

USC/Ark...55-10 sound familiar????

BC/TT....another great game.

past that....

a GT/Wisc game in the 2nd round could be interesting...

Ill/s. Ill 2nd round would be interesting...and i think S. Ill would win.

Duke/Pitt........Duke will win that game. Pitt is awful right now.

L'ville/Tx A&M...reall good 2nd round game.

the Sweet 16 could be a great one...Duke/UCLA, UNC/TX--who wouldn't want to see that???? OSU/TN...who of US wouldn't want to see that again? and an old Metro Conf. rivalry reborn with L'ville and Memphis lacing it up...Denny Crum and Dana Kirk will definitely tune in for that one.

yep....could be some great basket ball over the next couple of weeks...hope some of it comes to fruition...

i'm hoping that KU, FL, and UNC all make it to the final four...KU/FL 2 would probably be a gret game and seeing UNC/OSU would be a good match up...Oden vs. Hansborough....oden didn't play the first time. or UNC/Memphis....lots of running, probalby a very entertaining game....

but one of those three wins it all. don't see the SOuth winner taking it this year....and still not convinced Gtown will lose either...

gonna be real interesting that's for sure.

I agree that those are very interesting matchups. I also would add these....

Notre Dame-Winthrop: Winthrop is getting alot of media love and is not really a "Cinderella" team since most are picking them.

UNLV-Georgia Tech: Could be a VERY good ball game. Vegas looks very good lately and Tech is improving greatly.

Washington State-Oral Roberts: Oral Roberts is my George Mason this year. I don't think they are Final 4 material but I can see them beating WSU and Texas Tech/BC

Winthrop is a trendy pick here in Charlotte, as is Davidson....the two HC's for those schools are very well respected in this area of the country and no one here will be surprised to see either or both in the 2nd round.
