Iowa Second Congressional District and Democratic Election Hypocrisy

Democrats are the epitome of being hypocritical.

Any time a Dem accuses a Rep of doing something bad you can wager the farm they are already doing it themselves....the ole look over there, not over here. See:

Hillary
Diane Feinstein
Eric Swalwell
Telling their voters to fight
Refusing to accept the '16 election
On and on....

Only a couple paragraphs not Behind a pay wall, but Not sure how this also isnt hypocrisy on the Rs part too.
I don’t see how in this case. They have had three recounts and certified the results 5-0 it’s over. The R won by 47 votes but the D wants a house supervised recount due to contesting 22 votes. R’s are clean on this one at least.

What I saw said the lead went from 47 down to 6 with 22 in question.

I went back and read it yes it did end at six. There have been two counts however and the margin held and it was certified by the state bipartisan election board 5-0. The Dem is petitioning to have the House preside over their own recount. That’s BS. You can read the whole article if you open in a private browser. But here is the recount amount you mentioned you’re right.

Two counts, the state board certified it, and she’s been sworn in. This is over reach.

GOP Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks won the November race by 47 votes in the first count and six votes after lawyers wrangled over ballots in a recount. Democrat Rita Hart wants the House to use its constitutional authority as “judge of the elections” of its Members to impose another recount and reverse the outcome.

The hypocrisy does cut both ways. There weren't any Republicans in Congress speaking out against Trump's efforts to subvert democracy long after the electoral college had cast their votes on December 14th. To the contrary, Sen. Josh Hawley was fist pumping the protesters on the morning of January 6th and giving them encouragement, even though there was no longer a pathway within the framework of the United States Constitution to victory for the 2020 Trump campaign. As recently as this past week, the 2020 Trump Campaign still had litigation pending in effort to overturn the results of the Presidential election.

If these are now the rules for how to deal with losing an election, then that is fine... but both sides get to play by them. This sort of tit-for-tat was predictable. The 2020 Trump Campaign laid down the blue print, while Republicans allowed this sore loser conduct to become established precedent. This is just how it is going to be from now on whenever we have a close election.

Good to see you back. It sucks to have to defend a complete disaster like Biden so I understand why you’re not around much.

End justifies the means and tit for tat going forward then? Ok.

Dot 1: The Democrat-controlled House will decide this issue. Dot 2: National Guard still surrounds the Capitol. Anyone connecting these two dots?
