I really don't like the iPod earphones. They just get on my nerves...they keep falling out of your ears and they hurt when they actually do stay in. I'm thinking about buying a pair of headphones that I actually like and using those instead. I found a pair of wireless headphones at Best Buy that I love!

My question is...How can I find out if they are compatible with the iPod. I know that most any pair of regular headphones will fit into the jack on the iPod, but I have never used wireless headphones, so I'm not really sure how they work. They are fairly expensive, so I want to make sure they're compatible with my iPod before I fork over $55.

I don't know about the wireless, but I feel your pain. I hate those little boogers too. I found another set of small ones that go in your ears and those actually work well. Good luck.

Crystal, I have wireless headphones for my computer, but they definitely aren't small. Mine come with a stand that you plug the 'phones into to charge them up. When I use them to listen to music on my computer I have to fool with the durn things for 5 minutes before I get 'em "tuned" right.

I use two pairs. The buds that came with the iPod because they fit alright on me but are very easy to carry around. And I have those sony neckphones you see everywhere. I also have a $120 pair of studio isolation headphones, call 'em my Fatty McGee's. But I don't listen to my iPod with them.

Im pretty sure any kind of earphones will work, I dont use the ones that were given to me, I just bought some and they worked fine. I dont know anything about wireless headphones, believe it or not, Ive never heard of um. lol. But im confident any type of head phones would fit the jack on the ipod.
